The sustainable development of a society can be sought only through quality education to the children. A quality education must need a better schooling with character-building education. To materialize this dream of the deserving children of Kalahandi and Rayagada district Vedanta Aluminium Limited, as its noble attempt, to provide such facility invited DAV College Managing Committee to set up a school in this region. The dream, once etched in my mind to facilitate mostly the children of this tribal region with an ideal & quality education of DAV, came true. DAV Vedanta International School was established within the scenic splendour of Vedanta Township, VAL, Lanjigarh, Kalahandi.From its very inception, in the year 2006-07, I was highly ambitious on this project school.In this mission dedicated Principal, cooperative VAL Management & devoted staff of the school helped me a lot to materialize my aspiration into reality. Now my brain-child is growing and glowing up & up. I am extremely elated and feel proud to be a part and parcel of this noble institution as that started sparkling like a morning sun to dispel the ignorance from the ever-neglected region of the state. I wish its ever-enlightening better to better future.
