Two decades ago, when Kalahandi was still finding its voice in India's development story, our Chairman, Mr. Anil Agarwal, saw what few could, the immense potential of this region and its people. He believed that true transformation begins with education. With this conviction, in 2004, he planted the seed of DAV Vedanta International School. Since then, it has grown into a strong, deeply-rooted tree, providing quality education to more than 1400 students, with over 83% of students hailing from the local community.

Since its inception, DAV Vedanta International School has stood as a beacon of academic excellence in Kalahandi. As the first English-medium CBSE school in the region, it has opened doors to modern learning for thousands of students, many of whom are first-generation learners from local communities. The school’s continued focus on high academic standards and holistic development has resulted in outstanding outcomes, with students consistently performing exceptionally well and earning recognition through initiatives like the Vedanta Merit Scholarship Awards, celebrating academic excellence and encouraging young minds to pursue their aspirations with confidence.
